Roland Nonpareille capers are 5-7 mm in diameter. They are green/gray in color. The caper is the flower bud of a low growing bush found in mediterreanean countries.
Greek, Spanish and Italian chefs use capers in a wide variety of recipes. Capers are now also being used in "American" dishes - meat loaf and tuna fish salads. The sherry wine adds a distinct bouquet to these capers.Roland Capers are used right out of the jar, for both hot and cold dishes.
